This rare, unique edition of Webster's dictionary contains all the matter of Dr. Noah Webster's original work, his improvements up to the time of his death and thoroughly revised and greatly enlarged and improved by Professor Chauncey A. Goodrich of Yale College. Signatures and Testimonials by 33 U.S. Senators including President Millard Fillmore.

An excellent early edition of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass". Printed by Macmillan and Co. in 1927, with ninety-two illustrations by John Tenniel, including eight in color. Hardback. This book had some repairs done according to the owner.
